Our relationship with nature can be tricky. We are products of the natural rhythms of the Earth and therefore share a direct connection. Everyone experiences nature differently, some through physicality, some through technology, and some not at all. Metropolitan areas are becoming increasingly vast much in the same way fast food, fast consumerism, and even faster internet are spreading. This connection can be compromised at times by conveniency. This body of work aims to question that connection in relation to the harm we cause. This planet promotes life and encourages the ability to thrive and sustain. These four images depict our own self-destruction through the representation of the seasons provided to us by our Mother.
